Perry Kinkaide, MSc, PhD, CMC, a scientist and experienced manager, retired from KPMG Consulting in 2001. Since then, he has served as an advisor and director for various public and private organizations. Perry is the President of Kinkaide Enterprises Inc. (KEI), overseeing start-up investments and operations in technology-based enterprises in Western Canada. As the editor and host of KEI Network’s newsletter and webinars, Perry engages over 20,000 contacts. The 2023 KEI Network Programs cover topics such as energy transition, fusion breakthroughs, free expression conflicts in Canada, media impact initiated by ChatGPT, and artificial intelligence’s influence.
Perry is the founder and past-President of the Alberta Council of Technologies Society and the St. Albert Continuous Learning Community Society. He is a co-founder and director of Fusion Energy Canada and has held leadership positions in various associations. Perry, recognized as one of Alberta’s “most influential” in 2007, is sought after for his humorous and insightful perspectives on emerging technologies throughout Canada and the United States.
Currently residing in St. Albert with his wife of 51 years, Perry enjoys spare time activities such as golf, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
